Design Week Ahmedabad
— Design & architecture festival, CEPT Campus · Navrangpura
CEPT University opens its campus for five days of talks, installations, and exhibitions. Architects, designers, and planners from across India gather in a city that was designed by Le Corbusier and Louis Kahn — a context that gives every conversation about the built environment a certain urgency.
The programme runs from morning seminars to late-evening installations. The day talks cover architecture, urban design, graphic design, and craft — often in the same afternoon. The evening events are more social: studio tours, rooftop gatherings, film screenings.
Entry to the campus is free; individual events require registration. The campus itself — with its Doshi-designed stepped gardens and Kahn-influenced faculty buildings — is worth visiting regardless of the programme.
